Ans. An object can be considered as a point object if (a) its size is negligible in comparison to the distance travelled by object (b) it's size is not negligible in comparison to the distance travelled by object.

Ans. Yes, because the diameter of earth is very small as compared to the radius of the orbital path of earth around the sun.

Ans. Speed is a scalar quantity, the speed of an object can be zero and positive but never negative. Velocity is a vector quantity in fact velocity is equal to speed+ direction, the velocity of an object can be positive, zero and negative.

                  QUANTUM NUMBERS  Orbitals represent regions in the space around the nucleus where the probability of finding the electron is maximum.
